This team works fully remotely across various cities in Australia and uses Zoom meetings and zoom breakout rooms to stay connected, collaborate and to have a laugh with each other.

About the role:
This role would suit a software engineer that loves whiteboarding an issue with other engineers and enjoys the satisfaction of getting hands-on to build out the solution. Your input and ideas are valued in this role, and the team will encourage you to make important decisions around the solution. No cookie-cutter solutions here.

As the data integration engineer, you’ll be responsible for weaving together all the various data sources flowing in and out of this global organisation. Your projects might involve working on their custom data streaming capability or integrating data for various API frameworks or ensuring transactional databases properly synchronise. Due to a recent expansion into the US market, several key integration solutions need to be solved and completed in the next 12-18 months. If this last paragraph doesn't make sense, that's because I'm just the recruiter writing this, but I hope it paints a picture of what the role entails.

About you:
You might have started your career as a software engineer but ended up working on data-related projects, or maybe you are a data engineer that had the opportunity to use python to integrate backend systems either one is great!

• Solid understanding of SQL databases and an excellent grasp of complex SQL queries.
• Strong Python fundamentals are key to this role
• Exposure to Python API Frameworks such as: Fast API / Django / Flask
• 2+ years AWS/Cloud and or CI/CD experience would be useful but not essential.
• FHIR / HL7 experience a bonus

• Salary: $110,000-145,000 + super + 10% bonus
